Heard people say that they are cursed... their family is cursed... or the place is cursed??... the days are cursed?? In telugu they say dosham... Yep there are many spirits and every one has the power to curse and also to bless. But through Jesus, all our curses are removed and we are blessed beyond every curse.
If we look to things, it can bring only a curse, since we all fall short. But even in the curse, there is good news—in the crucifixion of Christ: "Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us, for it is written: `Cursed is everyone who is hung on a tree' " (Gal3:13, quoting Deut. 21:23). The Law demanded a penalty for law-breaking, and Jesus Christ paid the worst penalty of the Law.
Remember ,"Be careful how you think; your life is shaped by your thoughts" (Proverbs 4:23)
Ever felt that you are overwhelmed with sorrow or curse to the point of death?? Jesus had the same kind of suffering [Mat 26:39,42] In Vs 38 we see that Jesus was troubled . Reading further we see that Jesus had the Cup and He was asking Father to remove this Cup if it is His will. Sometimes we try to attone ourselves. Feel like punishing ourself for our past... for the things we did... or for the things that happend and for the things you did not stop and let it happen... for the words we said... or for the words others said agaist you.... This happens becuase, we dont accept the forgiveness and feel the need to be punish oursleves. Self-attonement is substituted by some for Christ's attonement. " Once we have repented of our sins God forgives and forgets them,... and we must forget them too..'
Jesus had the cup. and He says in Mat20:23 that we can indeed drink from His Cup but we cannot drink the cup on His behalf. Rom 8:17 says, we share in his suffering so that we may share His glory.
Job23:10: He knows the way I take... & we are refined in our suffering.
Is our suffering purifying us? or petrifying us?
"Allow God to soften and cleans you..."
So what to do? & What did they do in suffering?
Is53:7 -Jesus did not open His mouth against God
Heb 12:2 - Endured the cross... scorning its shame
Ph119:50 - Comfort in my suffering is this :"your promise preserves my life"
Paul says in 1Pet4:12 -19 that the spirit of glory and of God rests on you.
Philp 1:29 says we are not only to believe on Him but also to Suffer for Him. Here suffering for Lord means standing up for Him and upto His standards & be in integrity../..
At last super Mark14:23 Jesus offered the Cup and they all drank from it. The last supper is the symbol of our fellowship with Jesus in His suffering. Its participation in the Blood of Christ & in The BODY of Christ :)

Dark Night of the soul
At some point on our lives, life seams to be very dark indeed.
David writes Ps 22 and asks God why He has forsaken him... He feels utterly dejected... forsaken by God & overwhelmed by Life... Many times even I feel the same & I tend to ask LORD why is this happening to me. Later in Vs from 9, he praises God & in Vs 19 He calls God to come quickly to strengthen him.
In Jer20, Jeremiah also feels dejected and he is cursing the day that he was born, later all his laments are swalled up in praise and thanksgiving.
Remember, even JESUS felt the same on the cross when He says... "My God, My God, why have you forsaken me"...In bearing my sin, He is crushed and momentarily separated from His father.
But for us Time after time God's mercy and faithfulness prevails...
NEVER AGAIN WILL ANYTHING OR ANYONE HAEV THE POWER TO SEPARATE US FROM GOD'S LOVE.
Paul says in Rom8:35 , Who shall separate us from the LOVE of Christ? shall trouble, or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword?.
Further read Rom8:38 & 39 "For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons,† neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord."
AMEN..!!
LORD Loved me with a purpose... He dint kill me in my mother's womb...He is there beside me in all my troubles. Purifying me like silver :) :)
